Eaker and Mary Alice Daugherty were married Dec. 13, 1943, in Durham, N.C., where he was serving in the U.S. Army.
Eaker is retired from James Eaker Contractor Inc. His wife was secretary and bookkeeper.
The couple has three grandsons, David, Joshua and Joel.
