Due to a source error, Tuesday's Southeast Missourian article on Cape Girardeau County Salary Commission should have included Coroner John Clifton among those present and voting in favor of a raise for county officials. The 3.5 percent annual raises do not apply to Clifton's salary. Also, the coroner's office was left out of the list of offices on the 2008 election ballot...
