Brockmeyer and Sue Kinder were married Jan. 28, 1961, at St. Joseph Church. Their attendants were Rosie Dreyer, Dorothy Bruce, Gerome Brockmeyer and Keith Voges.

The couple has two daughters, Debbie (James) Wasson and Kristy (David) Johnson; and two grandchildren, Nicole Johnson and Farrell (Jessica) Wasson.
