Vernon E. Meyr, 78, of Jackson died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Walter Patzwitz officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery...
