CAIRO, Ill. -- Ruben E. Jenkins, 85, formerly of Cairo, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Cahokia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cahokia, Ill.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time today at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Revs. Albert Ingram and Melvin Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mound City National Cemetery with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Detail and local veterans.
