TAMMS, Ill. -- Joyce Ann Carson, 73, of Maryville, Ill., passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, in Edwardsville, Ill.
She was born July 17, 1936, in Tamms, to the late Robert and Lucy Dailey Smith Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon "Bunk" Carson.

Survivors include a son, daughter, three brothers, a sister and four grandchildren.
Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Allan and Ciuferi Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill., handled the arrangements.
