Joe L. McDowell, 75, of Jackson died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Friday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
