JONESBORO, Ill. -- George Simms, 78, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born March 10, 1918, in Joliet, son of Frank and Marie Simms. He and Grace Klasek were married Oct. 14, 1967.
Simms was a member of Anna Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Norman Ericksen of Antioch; and three grandchildren.
There is no visitation or service.
Crain Funeral Home at Anna is in charge of arrangements.
