Evelyn V. Hanson, 92, of Vernon, Conn., died Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at Crestfield Rehab Center in Vernon. She was born Aug. 3, 1904, in Gardner, Mass. She married Christian Hanson, who died in 1943. Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Ritchie of Cape Girardeau, Shirley Bryant of Vernon; a sister, Tessie Eaton of Gardner; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren...

She was born Aug. 3, 1904, in Gardner, Mass. She married Christian Hanson, who died in 1943.

Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Ritchie of Cape Girardeau, Shirley Bryant of Vernon; a sister, Tessie Eaton of Gardner; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.
Service and burial will be in Gardner.
