She died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1991, at Los Angeles. She was born in Bollinger County on Aug. 16, 1900.

Surviving is one son, Gerald Gaines, Carpinteria, Calif.

Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill was in charge of local arrangements.
