JACKSON, Mo. -- Delbert E. "Del" Bauer, 64, of Jackson died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Artas, S.D., son of Edward and Pauline Bauer.

Bauer served 21 years in the U.S. Army, retiring in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Billy Bauer of Jackson; a sister, Viola Hoff of Clovis, Calif.; and a granddaughter.
There is no visitation or funeral. McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
