JACKSON -- Albert R. Townsend, 88, of Jackson died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was formerly of Ironton. Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Stewart officiating.
