Woman injured in Tuesday accident
BENTON, Mo. -- A Benton woman is in moderate condition following a Tuesday accident. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 1999 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Jodie L. McCoy, 44, ran off the road and struck a tree on County Road 247, two miles north of Benton at 6:20 p.m. She was ejected from the vehicle. McCoy was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was not wearing a seat belt...
