Woman hurt when vehicle hits I-55 cable barrier

A Frohna, Mo., woman was injured when her car struck a cable barrier on Interstate 55 on Friday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Brenda G. Parkhurst swerved to miss another vehicle changing lanes and struck a cable barrier southbound near mile marker 104. Parkhurst suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center via ambulance.
