ANNISTON -- A Benton woman was injured Sunday after she ran into the path of a car, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. Lelar Blagg, 37, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center emergency room in Cape Girardeau but wasn't admitted. The accident occurred at 9:50 a.m. as Teresa Witherspooon, 38, of Charleston was driving east on Highway 75, two miles west of Anniston.
