Woman charged in toddler's death

MARSHALL, Mo. -- A 32-year-old Sedalia woman faces murder charges in the death of her 18-month-old child. Lydia M. Iliff was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder, tampering and endangering the welfare of a child, all felonies. The body was found in July after Iliff turned up alone at Saline County home disoriented and dehydrated and saying she didn't know where her child was.
