WELL-READ KIDS WILL HAVE PARTY IN THEIR HONOR

Kids who've completed the Cape Girardeau Public Library's summer reading program, "Leap Into Books," will be the honored guests at a party Aug. 6.

The party is hosted by the library and will be held at the A.C. Brase Arena Building beginning at 1 p.m.

The highlight of the party will be a drawing for two bicycles donated by VFW Post 3838 and its auxiliary. Kindermusik will entertain the crowd with a production of "Jack and the Beanstalk."

Door prizes will also be awarded.
