VIOLIN STUDENT ACCEPTED TO SUMMER STRING SCHOOL

Tarina Kang, 16-year-old violin student, has been accepted to the Encore School for Strings in suburban Cleveland, Ohio.

The intensive, six-week course for string students begins June 30 and continues through Aug. 10. The school is beginning its seventh year.

Located on the campus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, Encore is under the direction of David Cerone.

She is the daughter of Han M. and June Kang of Cape Girardeau.
