U.S. 61 in Jackson reduced to one lane

Contractors began milling work on U.S. 61 in Jackson Thursday and will continue working on the road through Saturday, reducing part of it to one lane. Work will take place from Route D to the Highway 34 and 72 intersection from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to minimize traffic interference.
