UNIVERSITY HONORS GOSCHE

Mary Gosche of Cape Girardeau, human development specialist at the Perryville Extension office, has been selected as "Professional Communicator of the Year" by the University of Missouri Extension Association.

Gosche took first place in two categories -- media broker and teaching package -- of the UMEA Public Information Contest. She placed second in the news story category.

The annual award is presented for creativeness, organizational and communication skills.
