The first incident occurred at 8:56 p.m., at 625 N. Spanish. A firefighter suffered minor injuries in a fall, and was taken to Southeast Hospital. He was later released.

The second fire took place three hours later at 1430 Parkmor.
Causes of both fires are under investigation.
