TV writer slated to speak at Southeast on Thursday

Linda Bloodworth Thomason, celebrated writer for various television series including "M*A*S*H," "Designing Women" and "Evening Shade," will speak at Southeast Missouri State University on Thursday. A native of Poplar Bluff, Mo., she will discuss growing up in the Bootheel and her career in Hollywood. She is scheduled to speak at 1:30 p.m. at Rose Theatre.
