A St. Louis truck driver was thrown from his tractor-trailer after he failed to negotiate a curve and went down an embankment.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said John Blocker, 43, was driving west on Route KK, a mile east of Interstate 55, when the accident occurred.
Blocker was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with moderate injuries.
