Here is a view of the lunar eclipse Sunday night, Sept. 27, 2015 taken about 10:15 p.m. in Cape Girardeau. The Earth had already passed between the moon and the sun, covering the moon with the Earth's shadow. The eclipse coincided with a supermoon, or blood moon. It was also the Northern Hemisphere's Harvest Moon--full moon nearest the September equinox. The last time such a phenomenon occurred was 32 years ago in 1982. There will not be another such eclipse for 18 years...
