Top 10 endangered buildings

The Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission has released its list of 10 endangered buildings in the city. "We hope it brings awareness to these buildings," commission chairman Scott House said. "We want to save all that we can."

Old Jefferson School, 731 Jefferson Ave., is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Hanover Lutheran School, 2949 Perryville Road, is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Kage School, 3110 Kage Road, is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Franklin School, 215 N. Louisiana St., is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Fort D blockhouse, 920 Fort St., is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Esquire Theater, 824 Broadway, is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Broadway Theater, 805 Broadway, is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Lorimier Apartments, 142-148 S. Lorimier St., is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.

Sturdivant Bank, 101 N. Main St., is one of 10 endangered buildings listed by the Cape Girardeau Historic Preservation Commission.
