Waterfowl gather around Martha Miller as she feeds them a bucket of corn and breadcrumbs Wednesday afternoon at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau. Miller said she feeds the waterfowl at the park about five times a week. Miller said she worries about the waterfowl in the park during the winter months and even took a crippled duck to Skyview Animal Hospital for treatment when parts of the lagoon iced over this past week.
