THEBES MAN INJURED IN SUNDAY ACCIDENT

THEBES, Ill. -- An 18-year-old Thebes man was injured Sunday when his truck ran off the road and overturned.

A spokesman for the Illinois State Police said Chad Moore was driving east on Bean Ridge Road near Route 3 when the accident occurred at about 5:30 a.m.

Moore lost control of his vehicle and it overturned in a ditch, police said.

Moore was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where a hospital spokesman said he was treated and released.
