Leroy Brumfield, 59, takes a break from his Monday route of can collecting in front of The Esquire Theater in Cape Girardeau. "I'm the Can Man," Brumfield said. Brumfield has a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday route where he collects cans. He averages 24 13-gallon bags of cans each week, which totals about $52. Brumfield said he has been collecting cans since he was 18 years old.
