The Cape Girardeau County Tea Party is sponsoring a disaster preparedness forum.
The event begins at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cape Girardeau Public Library.
An official from the American Red Cross Southeast Missouri chapter will present information on earthquake preparedness, and Bill Garner will provide an overview on disaster survival, "man-made or natural," according to an event organizer.
