Dr. Sara Edgerton conducts the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra and the Southern Illinois Symphony in "Prelude to Die Meistersinger," an overture by German composer Richard Wagner, to open the Symphonic Spectacular in Bedell Performance Hall on Monday at the River Campus. The concert also featured the world premier of "Two Brothers" by James Stephenson, a musical remembrance of families divided by the Civil War.
