STUDENT VOLUNTEERS TIME AT INDIAN RESERVATION

Shawna Gilmore of Cape Girardeau is one of 22 Hope College students who spent spring break as a volunteer at the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Hope College is located in Holland, Mich. Gilmore is a senior at the school. Through a student-organized project coordinated with the help of the college chaplain's office, the group helped renovate a church on the reservation.
