Stoddard County resident killed in ATV crash

PUXICO, Mo. -- A Puxico man died when he was thrown from his ATV.

Jerry M. Brown, 55, of Puxico was killed in an accident at 10 p.m. Monday on County Road 287, a half mile south of Puxico, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol reported Brown was driving north when his ATV ran off the roadway and overturned, throwing him into a ditch.

Brown's body was taken to the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
