State official to speak at First Friday Coffee
The Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly First Friday Coffee today at the Show Me Center. This month's featured speaker is Kelvin Simmons, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Developement. Simmons was appointed to that position by Gov. Bob Holden in December. Simmons previously served as a commisioner and chairman of the Missouri Public Service Commission. A continental breakfast kicks things off at 7:15 a.m. The program will begin at 7:30 a.m...
