Stabbing reported on William Street

Cape Girardeau police investigate personal items at the scene of a stabbing near the intersection of William Street and Park Avenue. The incident occurred about 1 p.m. A spokesman for Cape Girardeau Police Department said one victim was taken to a local hospital. An officer on routine patrol in the area observed the incident and quickly apprehended a suspect.Rick Fahr
