ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The search for a superintendent for the St. Louis School District is narrowed to three finalists.
Their names will be released Monday, and a public forum is planned for Tuesday night at Vashon High School.
It's a closely watched job in Missouri's largest school district, after the state stepped in and a new school board was appointed to try and turn around the troubled schools.
The district currently has an interim superintendent, its seventh leader since 2003.
