Lucas Joseph Martin was the first baby of the new year born at SoutheastHEALTH at 10 a.m. Jan. 1.
He was welcomed by parents Cherish Roberts and Dustin Martin of Scott City and the SoutheastHEALTH OB team, according to a news release from SutheastHEALTH.

Lucas weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and has three siblings. Lucas' family received a gift basket full of items for him and a flower arrangement.
"SoutheastHEALTH wishes Lucas and his family all the best," the release stated.
