SOUTHEAST STUDENT RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP

Ronald Eakins, a student at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, has received a $250 scholarship from the Cape Girardeau County Women of Law Enforcement.

The award was presented to Eakins, 19, of Cape Girardeau, at a meeting last week of the organization at the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Eakins is majoring in criminal justice and is the son of Carl and Donna Eakins, 2515 Janet. Carl Eakins is a sergeant at the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
