SIUC AWARDS DOCTORAL DEGREE TO LOCAL MAN

MARBLE HILL -- Joseph V. Huskey of Marble Hill, has earned a doctoral degree in education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Huskey is the College of Education Advising Coordinator at Southeast Missouri State University and also serves as an instructor in the department of elementary and special education at the university.

Prior to obtaining his doctorate in curriculum and instruction, he taught for 17 years in Missouri public schools, including 5 years in the Rolla public schools.
