SIKESTON -- A Sikeston man was fatally injured Tuesday when his vehicle struck a ditch and overturned. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 8:02 p.m. in Scott County. Jose O. Bautista, 26, was traveling east at County Road 452 at County Road 460 when his vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned,
Bautista was pronounced dead at the scene by Scott County Assistant Coroner James Conner. This is Troop E's 45th fatality for the year.
