Shooting investigation in 300 block of South Benton Street

Members of the Cape Girardeau police and fire departments responded to the 300 block of South Benton Street where a gunshot victim was located. The victim was transported by Cape County Private Ambulance service to a local hospital, and an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
