SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Two sheep were brutally beaten and stabbed with a pitchfork in a high school's agriculture classroom, authorities said. One sheep died, the other was severely hurt.
Two men were arrested, but the motive for the attack remained unknown, said Sgt. Lou Fatur of the Sacramento County sheriff's office.
The men were arrested as they left Casa Robles High School early Saturday. A neighbor saw the men enter the school and called deputies.
