The Shawnee Amateur Radio Association will hold its 39th annual radio hamfest Sept. 10 at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg.
The event begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. An admission fee will be charged.
FCC amateur exams begin at 9 a.m. Applicants must bring two forms of identification. The standard FCC license fee will apply.
The Shawnee Amateur Radio Association is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League.
