The Cape Girardeau Senior Center has received a $500 grant from Reynolds Metal and the National Association of Meal Programs.
Jo Nelle Lingo, director of center, said the money will be used to offset costs of home-delivered meals.
Reynolds Metals donated a total of $150,000 for distribution to senior meal programs throughout the country.
Lingo applied for funds and the center received the grant. This is the second time the Cape Girardeau center has received money through this grant program.
