U.S. Sen. Kit Bond will host a hearing at 2:30 p.m. today in the Show Me Center to determine how local agribusinesses feel about federal regulation in the field.
Slated to appear to testify are Charles Kruse, president of the Missouri Farm Bureau; H. Weldon Macke, Cape Girardeau County auditor and former owner of Macke Farm Equipment in Gordonville; and several other people involved in Southeast Missouri agribusiness.
The hearing is open to the public.
