The scholarship is open to Puxico High School graduates and preference is given to students who have completed two semesters at Southeast.
Gill is a 1963 graduate of Puxico High School and is a junior at Southeast majoring in nursing. She has two children, Todd Gill, 22, and Tonya Gill, 21.
