SCENIC DRIVE TO BE TOPIC FOR MEETING OF HISTORICAL GROUP

Frank Nickell, history professor at Southeast Missouri State University, will be the guest speaker for the general membership meeting March 9 of the Historical Association of Greater Cape Girardeau.

Nickell will discuss regional history and the Mississippi River Valley Scenic Drive.

The scenic drive is scheduled April 25 and 26.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the activity room of Chateau Girardeau. The meeting is open to the public.
