The Salvation Army recently picked up 12 used air conditioners from Hartle management in Jackson that will be given out to senior citizens with a doctor's referral. The units will be given out starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Recipients must be Cape Girardeau and Jackson residents and not have received an air conditioner in the past from the Salvation Army, Pepsi or Fred's.
