The Salvation Army of Cape Girardeau will hold its annual Civic Dinner April 22 at the church's new gymnasium.
The dinner will include displays of Salvation Army memorabilia from several decades.
On Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m., there will be a public dedication of the new church, with a reception following. The guest speaker for the weekend celebration is Col. Dennis Phillips, chief secretary for the central territory, and his wife Noella.
