Route W reduced for pavement work

Route W in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane today and tomorrow, while Missouri Department of Transportation crews patch the roadway.

This section of road is from Highway 177 to LaSalle Avenue.

Weather permitting, the work will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
