ROUND TABLE EVENT WILL FEATURE COOKOUT

A cookout featuring Civil War recipes will be the program of the Cape Girardeau County Chapter of the Civil War Round Table's meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall of Hanover Lutheran Church, 2949 Perryville Road.

The cookout will include beef stew and side dishes.

Also at the meeting, a video will be shown of Dr. John V. Simon, a nationally known authority on the military career of Ulysses S. Grant.
